San Francisco—October 5, 2011—Clean Power Finance, the leading provider of integrated services and financing solutions for the solar industry, today announced Nicholas Mack has been appointed Senior Vice President General Counsel and Corporate Secretary and Kirstin Hoefer Vice President of Marketing. Mack’s and Hoefer’s software and solar industry experience is uniquely suited to leading Clean Power Finance’s legal and marketing efforts, respectively. They are joining a renowned team that includes solar finance pioneer and SunRun co-founder Robert “Nat” Kreamer, former Tioga Energy executive Kristian Hanelt and solar industry finance veterans Brian Robertson and Ed Feo.
Nicholas Mack joins Clean Power Finance from Sungevity, a residential solar finance provider, where he served as the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. Prior to Sungevity, Mack was the General Counsel for Mainstream Energy, the parent of REC Solar and AEE Solar, the leading solar integration and distribution companies in the U.S. Before entering the solar industry, Mack was the Deputy General Counsel at Yodlee and Assistant General Counsel at Sun Microsystems. Mack has a JD from the University of California, Hastings College of Law and a BA from Georgetown University.

Kirstin Hoefer brings more than fifteen years combined CMO and product management experience to her new role as Vice President of Marketing. Hoefer’s experience includes managing large cross-functional teams to build thriving online networks and marketplaces on a global platform supporting millions of visitors daily. Hoefer holds an MBA from Stanford University and a BA from UCLA.
