Clean Power Finance Hires David Peterson as Managing Director, Renewable Capital Markets

Infrastructure Financing Expertise Will Support Further Residential Solar Finance Innovations

San Francisco[April 3, 2014]Clean Power Finance® (CPF), a financial services and software provider for the residential solar industry, today announced the appointment of David Peterson as managing director on its renewable capital markets team. David will work with utilities and financial investors, as well as the public sector, to bring additional residential solar finance products to the CPF Market®.

“David is a seasoned project financier with extensive infrastructure advisory and investment experience,” said Kristian Hanelt, SVP of renewable capital markets at CPF. “He brings a diverse set of perspectives to our team, and his track record of “first in market” financings will help CPF continue to innovate.”

Over the course of his career, David has negotiated and closed more than $15 billion in finance facilities. He has significant experience with complex and often unprecedented transactions in a range of infrastructure sectors, including conventional and renewable power, transportation, water and health. Prior to joining CPF, David was with Ernst & Young, where he was a senior managing director on its infrastructure advisory team. He has also held senior infrastructure finance positions at RBC Capital Markets, CIT Group and Schroders. David holds a BA from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from INSEAD.
